Balkanbeats lassen Ottensheim nicht zur Ruhe kommen, „Romanovstra´s“ Debütalbum liegt vor.
Der gebürtige Rumäne und Roma, Nicu Stoica, zur Zeit wohnhaft in Ottensheim, ist der Sänger und Gitarrist der Band „Romanovstra“ , die nun mit ihrer ersten gleichnamigen CD einen gelungener Mix aus partytauglichen Eigenkompositionen und den Evergreens des Balkangenres präsentieren.
Unterstützt wird Herr Stoica dabei von der romaaffinen Sängerin Karina Fedko und einem mehrstimmigen Backgroundchor.
Überschäumende Lebenslust und galoppierender rhythmischer Drive wechseln mit bluesiger Melancholie, dargebracht von den 9 Mitgliedern der Band, die mit ihrem vielfältigen Instrumentarium wie der kubanischen Tres, dem Balkanakkordeon, der Brassgruppe sowie einer Rhythmusgruppe aus Baß, Percussion und Schlagzeug ein musikalisches Feuerwerk abbrennen lassen.
Live mitgeschnitten bei einem Konzert auf der Granitbühne in St.Martin werden musikalische Stollen in die Tiefen der Balkanseele getrieben um Edles zutage zu fördern. Dabei kommt der Band die Routine ihres mittlerweile 10 jährigen Bestehens zugute. Die Stärken der Gruppe liegen nicht nur in den teils mehrstimmigen vokalen Parts sondern auch in einer virtuosen solistischen Abhandlungen des Repertoires. Damit können sich „Romanovstra“ durchaus mit den Größen der Szene messen.
Man darf auf die weitere Entwicklung dieser hochmotivierten Band gespannt sein und ihnen wünschen, mit dieser CD ihren Bekanntheitsgrad maximal zu erweitern.

Nicu Stoica, the head of the band and Romanian-born Roma, is the singer and guitarist of the band „Romanovstra“ based in Ottensheim, a small place near Linz. The first album named after the band presents a well assembled mix of original compositions and a traditional foundation of balkanesk interpretations. Stoica is supported by the Roma-loving singer Karina Fedko and the backing of several voices of the group.
In a melange of effervescence and soaring rythmic drive the 8-headed band surrenders into melancolic bluse elements well throughout the performance. The multifarious output of the cuban tres guitar, the Balkan-ac- cordion as well as the brass and rythmic group of the bass guitar, percussions and drums moves the audien- ce into a musically enlivened firework of emotions.
The live recording plays out the gleaming granite of the „Granitbühne St. Martin“ in the north of Austria that forms the stony grounds and the depths of its precious treasures of the balkanesk soul. The essembly of multi-vocal parts isn ́t the only strength of this group as they master the repertoires in a virtuosic soloistic profession. Eight years in its existence Romanovstra can match well with the grandeur of the scene. The band ́s motivation is to grow as the CD represents the love to the music and its intention to bring it to the heart ́s of the listeners.

Rom, porijeklom iz Rumunije, Nicu Stoica, koji trenutno živi u Ottensheimu pjevač i gitarista benda „Romanovstra“ prezentuje sa svojim prvim istoimenim CD-om uspješnu mješavinu evergreena balkan žanra i samokomponovane party muzike. Stoicu podržava pjevačica Karina Fedko i višeglasni prateći hor.
Strastvena volja za životom i galopirajući ritam, miješaju se sa blues melanholijom osmočlanog benda, koji svojim raznim intrumentima, kao što su kubanski tres, balkanska harmonika, duvačka grupa, kao i ritam sekcija trube, udaraljke i bubnjeva, potpaljuju muzički vatromet.
Album je isječak koncerta uživo, sa Granit bine u St. Martinu, koji prodire muzički u balkansku dušu, promovirajući plemenitost iste. Bendu, pri tome, ide u korist rutina osmogodišnjeg iskustva zajedničkog nastupanja. Vrlina grupe nisu samo višeglasni vokalni dijelovi, nego i virtuozno solističko izvodjenje repertoara. Time se „Romanovstra“ može itekako mjeriti sa velikanima scene.
